Seasonal Events Committee
What do we do?
- We organize various events and projects that occur on a a non-continual basis.
Why join Seasonal Committee?
- If you like working on a variety of projects, this is the committee for you! As our projects frequently change (unlike gardening, for example), you can get the chance to work on different events throughout the year.
Our Projects:
- Environmentally Friendly Sales: Prom dresses, used test-preparation textbooks, handmade merchandise, and re-used material items (such as jewelry) are for sale on our E-store on this website (see link on the right)! Orders will be made on this web site and deliveries (and payment) in person via a FIERCE member at each individual school. If you would like to sell an item on our E-store, please contact us.
- Fashion Show:
We organized a fashion show at the Oct. 2010 Ecology Fair. (See also the picture above!) - Walk-One-Week (WOW):
This is one of our latest projects. FIERCE will be teaming up with the Cupertino Teen Commission and other organizations in California to plan this event. Elementary school students are encouraged to walk to school for one week and will receive cool prizes.
